Bidra med feedbackDo you make your own popsicle with Gelato flavors? The best idea ever! The aromas are on-point. Topping options are not as extravagant or numerous as other places, but the simplicity and variety of choices you can creatively make delicious combinations all day, every day!
We finally made it to Popbar after we heard it months ago. It wasn't disappointed! The concept was simple but new: you choose a popsicle and then adjust it to taste with toppings. There was a decent selection of aromatized gelato or frozen yogurt pickles that were delicious on their own. You can add a drop or drop milk, white, dark chocolate... I miss here a few, but I can't remember, and then choose your beats from nuts to waffle cone bits to wrinkles, etc. You have a list of popular flavors... I picked up the list, the Ferrero-Rocher. It was hazelnut gelato dipped with milk chocolate and covered on one side in waffle cone bits and the other with nuts. It was delicious! A bit expensive $3,99 tax and toppings, but they have a 10% discount coupon.
Delicious popsicle sticks but the ordering process can be tricky and it's very pricey for a bar! Tip : Checkin on yelp to get free toppings choco about $1 off) I liked the green tea popsicle with half chocolate but the price is high for a popsicle stick you finish in a minute or two. This is on the plaza with McDonalds next to Rojoz and open relatively late for the area 10pm) The ordering process can be a little difficult. They do have recommended popsicles which I recommend just choosing from. Do you want pistachios on your bar? Do you want milk choco or white choco? Do you want it drizzled? Who knows right? In general, it works like this 1. Choose your bar $4) Many options like coconut, green tea, strawberry, mango, etc. 2. Choose what kind of chocolate 50 cents) Choco milk, white choco, choco mint, etc. 3. Choose how to place the chocolate drizzled it's the swiggly if you know what I mean), half, or full 4. Choose a topping 50 cents) Almond, pistachio, etc. If you choose to take it to go, they freeze it and then place it in a bag.
You can expect to pay around $5 for a soda with various flavors and toppings, but it's a fun dessert that you can customize to your liking. I really enjoyed the pumpkin cake they offered last November. I had it half-dipped in dark chocolate with almonds, and it was delicious! However, a friend of mine said the watermelon sorbet with white chocolate didn’t taste great. They ended up separating the chocolate and the beets to eat them on their own.
The gelato pops have a wonderful texture; they're both beautiful and delicious.
