Bidra med feedbackWe tried their pizza and it was delicious especially with the Flying Squirrel Raspberry Beer. I was totally impressed with the selection and our waitress didn't keep interrupting us but serm to show up exactly when we needed her. I highly recommend this restaurant. A real hidden gem. Check it out for yourself!
We were in town for a visit and friends recommended we try one of their favourite places for dinner and drinks. The restaurant offers a wide variety of pizzas and tapas and we took advantage of both. The Great Goat Caper pizza was awesome with wonderful flavours and light crust. The four of us shared a number of different tapas- our favourites were the chorizo dates, the spanish cod fritters, and the beef empanadas- each with their own different and remarkable flavours. This is not a sit and eat fast food restaurant as North Americans are accustomed to, you sit, you eat, you drink, and enjoy the time with friends while sharing the wonderful food. Awesome experience and hope to go back when we visit Sarnia next time.
Have to begin by saying that the food is excellent, however, the service is the worst I've ever experienced. I booked reservations for 5 pm to celebrate my birthday. We arrived 15 minutes early and were made to feel uncomfortable for arriving early (restaurant was empty at this time). The waitress (also owner) made a strange comment about not realizing we would be arriving with three children. Immediately creating an unwelcoming environment for our kids. Her attitude toward us was extremely unpleasant. When I explained that my son has a dairy allergy and requested that cheese is left off of 1/4 of pizza, she told me they could not do that! But that they could leave it off half of the pizza!? My 6 year old was upset and felt embarrassed as we had to argue this with her in order to accommodate our son. The drink menu is also not very child friendly. They do not offer a variety of drinks that kids enjoy (ie chocolate milk, apple juice). It was a really disappointing experience as we like to support the downtown independently owner restaurants. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone with children.
My first dining experience with Zzas was excellent. We enjoyed a tapas platter for appetizers and a gourmet pizza as the entree. Service was excellent.
First off came here to celebrate my boys fourth bday. We were made to feel uncomfortable instantly. Regardless we were here to try what peolple said was amazing za. Ordered the prosciutto sticks tapas barely any prosciutto and blackened under side. The bacon wrapped dates awesome. The empanadas, fairly empty , would be nice if they had substantial contents for the price ,2 for $9, mostly pastry. The dips for the tapas were bland. Being a hardy foodie my wife mentioned my dip sauces i make including pestos blew these out if the water. Had 3 other pizzas ,meh, really nothing to brag about. For the price I'd rather spend it elsewhere. Smile people it wouldn't hurt.
