Garden Cafe Lounge - Saskatoon

I stayed here in December 2016 and had dinner at the lounge, which was excellent. We enjoyed it so much that we went back five times during our visit! I highly recommend the lobster ravioli, osso buco, East Coast seafood bake, shrimp appetizers, lobster martini, bruschetta, and the charcuterie board.

I ordered the spicy shrimp as an appetizer, and it was delicious. For my main course, I had the clubhouse sandwich, which was a bit messy but tasty. The fries that came with it were also really good. The service was quick and polite. Overall, it’s quite a nice option for a hotel restaurant.

We visited for the Sunday brunch and found a great variety of options. Most of the dishes were tasty and fresh, though a few could have been prepared better or fresher. The desserts were outstanding. The ham and roast beef carvings were enjoyable, but we didn't try the omelette station this time. Our main disappointment was with the pricing. The website stated a cost of $20.99 per person, which we thought was already a bit steep. So, we were taken aback when our bill revealed a charge of $28.99 per person. That amount felt excessive, and honestly, even the lower amount seemed a bit questionable given our overall experience. I'm not sure if I would consider returning to Saskatoon in the future.

It had been years since I’ve been here. Oh how it’s changed. Service was spot on. We came for Sunday brunch. There is definitely something for everyone. Roast beef, ham, turkey and lasagna. Crepe and omelette station. Waffles someone shucking fresh oysters. Soup, salads, eggs Benny and plenty of fresh veggies as salads. Carts with dim sum. Absolutely fantastic. We will definitely be going back.

I dined at this restaurant for dinner with my family, which comprised eight of us in total. The service was notably slow, and it took a long time for our food to arrive. While the food was acceptable, it wasn't anything special. It was evident that the plates had been sitting for a while before being served. Additionally, the cheesecakes that everyone ordered for dessert were still frozen.
