La Taqueria Mexicana - Saskatoon

Best Taco Spot in Saskatchewan if you are looking for authentic Mexican food that is different from the rest. I'd rather go here than anywhere. Super friendly staff, always greeting me and looking forward to my next return. Great options for gluten-free and vegetarian customers and always very interactive when explaining the menu, if necessary! Hours close early at about 3 usually if it is not summer yet highly recommended for any season.

This farmers market Taqueria is one of Saskatoon's biggest hidden gems. Super authentic, extremely tasty, and the service makes you feel like you're at home. The meat is spicy and flavourful, and their housemade sauces are absolutely premium. Also, if you need authentic crema, cotija, or queso fresco, this should be your first and only stop.

I'm from Texas and the food here is the closest to home I've yet found in Saskatoon. Fresh and delicious! The salsa could have been a little spicier but it is way better than the glorified marinara I've tasted at other places. The suadero taco was delicious. The pastor taco was good but I've had more flavorful pastor meat. All the vegetables were fresh and flavorful. The gringas was huge and filled with cheesy goodness. I can't wait to go back and try more! I knocked off a star for price but that's probably my bias from coming from a place where Mexican food is cheap and plentiful!

Tacos tasted good but way too pricey for the amount of food you get. I ordered two tacos and a tamale, was told by the lady at the till that was too much food for one person so I ended up not getting the tamale. Paid 13 for two tiny tacos and I was still hungry after. I would not recommend coming here unless you want to spend and leave feeling super unsatisfied.

I got ripped off and it wasnt by accident. Only person there. I ordered two taco dishes. One came before the other or was supposed to because they were preparing it. I ate and waoted for them to call me for the second. When i went to ask where my food was the cook was eating it and said you already got yours with a smile on her face. I dont think two little measley tacos is worth$ 12.50 even though the food is good. Never spending another penny there again.
