Bidra med feedbackSitting on the shore was so funny that this place is only worth it. In addition, they have a nice selection of food and friendly staff. I ate our food there.
The food was great for the most part. We did not care too much for the tuna poke. Salmon and burger were excellent! If visiting during the warmer seasons BRING BUG SPRAY.
Stopped to grab a bite after going to the Tulip Festival in Holland, MI in early May. Per others’ reviews we expected to wait for a table, so that wasn’t a problem at all. The food was absolutely amazing, and serving were BIG. We were seated inside which was no problem as even indoor seating was primarily next to big, open windows. Those on the outdoor patio could enjoy the waterfront view! Going back to the food- there is not one negative thing to say because everything we ordered was delicious, flavorful, and plating matched the aesthetic of the restaurant. The reason I did not give this place five stars is because after being seated, we were not approached by our waitress for a good ten to fifteen minutes. Unfortunately that did not get much better throughout the meal as we had to hunt her down for the check, boxes, drinks, etc. I understand that the restaurant was busy (I’m glad they are getting business now that everything had opened back up), but I do wish we were served (or at least greeted) a bit sooner than we ended up being approached. Overall, I would definitely go back to The BARge for the food, but I think I will consider the slower hours of the day.
Good food, but of a wait tho as it was quite busy on the weekend near the end of September. We were able to get a drink at the roof top bar however. Chicken sandwich was good a choice and the ahi tuna things were also solid.
YUM!! We stayed in Saugatuck for a weekend the BARge had my favorite food that I ate!! The garlic parm truffle fries the little gem salad with blackened chicken were top notch! We sat outside the views were stunning. I'm sure we'll be back!
