Cote Jardin - Saumur

There are a few cafe's restaurants just down from the town hall and we are glad our friends revisited this one. Whilst in Saumur, they raved about the offer of Les Galettes at Cote Jardin. We tried them and they were superb. Give them a go....

My wife and myself went “ on spec” following the Trip Advisor guidance on a busy Friday night after 8.00pm. The restaurant is one of a number in a popular terrace looking out on the Loire . A number of tables were reserved and we waited while the lady Manager arranged for a table to be set for us . The aperitifs , wines and interesting selection of food were greatly enjoyed by us os much so that we booked to come the following night Saturday at 7.00pm , which we also enjoyed . The lady Manager personally takes all orders and helps serve the dishes while keeping an overview of progress and payments . A most satisfying experience in an open air environment . its not pretentious but what it does, it does well.

High end Creperie with a great menu and family vibe. Polite staff top it a off to be a very enjoyable experience recommended

Regular visitor in summer but visited this year in December. By miles the best crepes in Saumur and service first class from the owners. Always made very welcome and the range of crepes is superb. Visited 4 times in 4 weeks, enough said.

Crêperie whose charming staff gives us a pleasant welcome. The cakes are delicious, the succulent crêpes and the resulting choice. We're having fun. St. James' cake is a real treat. Among other things... Discover
