Driftaway Cafe - Savannah

Our experience has been mixed. We liked the Pecan Chicken Salad, the Sandfly Seafood Platter and the Key Lime Pie. The Fried Green Tomatoes did not taste well (I had them in a few different restaurants before). I liked the decorations in the restaurant.

This place is a gem! The Key West Cuban was so great! I am on vacation, and stopped here as part of the tour with Kelly Tours. They gave southern charm customer service and were fast and efficient. Our waitress didn’t skip a beat and the waited on a group of 16. Great food, great service.

The food was great. The atmosphere was awesome. We sat on the Front porch during a thunderstorm and it really relaxing with the music they played there.

Sat outside back deck and our server and food was delicious. We went for brunch...shrimp and chicken biscuit are yummy ! Highly recommend to sit out back it is so beautiful ! Banana tree and small brook with tons of plants foliage.

An early dinner here on a Friday night. Loved the cute quirky aesthetics. We had a nice stand with a monkey swing right in front of our window. Good service, but still professional. Both hubs and I ordered Firecracker Shrimp Tacos. They were bombs! Smokey, sweet spicy sauce with fresh salsa. Huge fresh tasting shrimp in a crispy dough... was so delicious! We look forward to returning!
