Geneva's Famous Chicken And Cornbread Co.

Visiting from Naples, Florida; found this restaurant through google. How I wish I could relocate this family business to Naples. I love chicken; this was awesome! Had Mac n cheese and candied yams; delicious! What a wonderful family business. If you are in the area, do not hesitate to stop for a meal! We went at 3:00 in the afternoon so we missed the lunch crowd but beat the dinner throng.

Randomly stumbled upon this place while in Savannah looking for soul food. The wait was long, but WORTH the wait. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious, my family couldn’t stop talking about it every bite they took. I will definitely be back!

Location threw me off cause it was in a shopping mall but.. that mean’s absolutely nothing here! Everything freshly made to orderQuality shows. Some of the best fried chicken I’ve had in awhile looked good tasted even better. Perfect crisp and seasoning on the skin and flavor into the chicken not lost after the just the skin like most. They know what they’re doing, Family is super nice and accommodating for what it’s worth just a small conversation with the mother made me feel like I was home and that’s a nice feeling. No idea if she’s the owner or not but I assume. Anyway they have different selection of cornbreads which is different they were good as well and so was the dessert. If ever nearby stop by they’re definitely worth it.

My job wanted to try this place which was highly recommended for the chicken. We tried calling several times to place a pickup order BUT no one answered the phone. My coworker drove there and waited over an hour to place order/pickup order. We ordered a 16-piece bucket of chicken with a large macaroni n cheese side item and two (2) mini loaves (blueberry and original). Total was over $40.Now, to me the chicken was not the best because it had so much skin on it. Mac n cheese was ok. However, the mini-loaves with blueberry spread was the BEST! Totally delicious! Overall, I wasn’t impressed but my men coworkers ate 14 pieces between the two of them and enjoyed it lol. ??

SOOOO GOOOD!!! I usually leave short reviews but y'all... I ordered the 4pc chicken with Mac and cheese as a side and omg so crunchy and tender and moist but not all greasy. The macaroni and cheese is literally so good it's authentic black grandma Mac and cheese ?? love it. I also got pound cake and omg it was perfect and has a the homemade glaze. I mean even the water was buss tbh?. I'm usually really picky but I love this place. And then my sister got the 2 pc snack with the potato it was also really good. Oh and I almost forgot to mention the cornbread, very very very moist fall apart in your mouth so good?. I got the original flavor and my sister got the blueberry flavor and they were both soooo good. Miss Geneva and her staff did that??Parking: It's a plaza so there's plenty of parking.
