Starland Cafe Catering - Savannah

My new favorite place in Savannah! Had the Cuban and the goat bomb. Both were excellent. I can't wait to go back and try more stuff. Service was great too. This is very well run place.

The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and the vibes were warm and welcoming.

The food is good at this place, the service and ordering process is not. You enter the front door and are rudely told to shut the door before you are even through. You then place your order in a cramped hallway and pay and asked to tip before hand. Good bread though.

My wife and I came here today and didn’t have a good experience. We usually love to come and sit outside twice a month at least because it is a great atmosphere. Today must have been a weird day. We were told it was going to be a 45 minute wait which was a pretty long time for sandwich and salad shop but we decided to give it a go anyway because the food quality is usually on par. Ended up waiting over an hour and at that point we decided to just put everything up for Togo because we had a business meeting. Annoying but whatever. When I got a chance to eat I opened up the foil to see literally TWO slices of bacon for the whole sandwich. The saddest excuse for a BLT. That literally was the tipping point of why I’m even doing this review. Twelve bucks for the sandwich isn’t worth the headache of the time we waited. Super disappointed in the pride taken to prep this. Great example of a Sandwich is still Coffee Deli. More bank for your buck and always consistent

The food is always delicious (even cold) but today 's experience was lacking. I understand lack of employees right now etc. But if that is the reasoning let your customers know in advance that the food is going to take awhile. 40 plus min. For a sandwhich and salad is too long. Plus the Panini was cold. No, Hey we are so sorry your food will be out in 10 or even I 'm sorry this took so long. If your backed up and food is taking over 30 min to serve let your customers know ahead of time. Dont have them pay and then be stuck there for 40 min for a cold Panini and a salad.
