The food we ordered was delicious. There was a lot on the menu we didn't know what it was. Not a great choice for kids. Once the food came the service was slow. There were 8 of us so we had to sit indoors, and it's all hard surfaces so the sound echoed and it was too noisy to hear each other once it filled up. Kid-friendliness: Not particularly kid friendly. There were open flames on the table (not a problem for our kids, could be for others). There's no kids menu and most of the offerings are too sophisticated for kids' palates.

The food is exceptionally fresh, and the service is outstanding. However, the ambiance truly stands out as the highlight of the experience. Overall ratings: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.

We have dined at Susan's several times and they always manage to accommodate us on their lovely outdoor patio. Each dish we've tried has been carefully prepared and seasoned. The "simple" mixed greens salad comes perfectly dressed with a light lemon vinaigrette, and every leaf of the Boston Bibb lettuce is seasoned to perfection with salt and pepper. The halibut, burger, pork shank, and fried chicken sandwich have all been delicious. The wine list is quite diverse. It's evident that the staff enjoys working together, making each visit a special experience. Well done, and thank you!
