Black Bull Pub - Scarborough

This pub is my favorite in the entire country. We originally just stopped in to say hello and have a pint of OP, but Mark tempted us with the Sunday carvery. The food was fabulous, the beer was the tastiest, and the staff were the best.

A great carvery that gives you enough food not to feel hungry for hours. The staff were all friendly and helpful, there was a great atmosphere and it seemed very popular with the locals, which I always take as a good sign. They recommended booking and I can see why as it was very popular. If we are back in the area, we will definitely be going again.

A few miles out of Whitby just off main Teesside road. Well worth the trip. Extensive and varied specials menu to add to a good normal menu. Very busy on the night we visited. Food good, service too. Reasonable prices.

Arrived unexpectedly after being in the Yorkshire Moors until late taking photographs, they were full but we were asked to wait, when a table was available it was cleaned and made ready for us. The meal was well cooked and substantial. We were made to feel very welcome. Will definitely return.
