Feedback
Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant offers good value for money with a variety of food and drink options. The establishment is dog friendly and provides attentive bar service. However, the landlord and weekend waitress staff were lacking in friendliness and efficiency. Despite its convenient location and traditional atmosphere, the negative attitudes of the boss and staff make it hard to fully enjoy the experience. If you are in the area and need a quick drink, it is a decent option, but there are plenty of other dog-friendly pubs in Whitby just a short drive away.
I found this delightful little pub during a weekend trip to Whitby. We decided to have dinner there and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. Our group was easily accommodated and everyone enjoyed their meals, whether it was fish and chips or lasagne. The portions were generous, so we skipped starters. The waitress was a bit intimidating, but we were overall satisfied with our dining experience. The beautiful views of the sea were an added bonus.
This cozy pub/restaurant is conveniently located on the street with parking available in the back. The food was excellent, with Black Sheep and John Smith's beers on tap. The portions were generous and the desserts were delicious. The 8oz rib eye was incredibly tender and the sticky toffee pudding was one of the best I've ever had. Overall, a top-notch dining experience.
Great eating and huge portions. good selection of beer. personal friendly and helpful with local knowledge. nice to see how a fire is going when the weather was müll.
I love this pub! our second holiday in the beautiful sandsend and the hard inn becomes a much visited place over our 7 days! amazing eating, beautiful atmosphere and the natives are so welcoming. highly recommended.
