Ofenbaur Drink Eat - Scena

Very nice cafe with a great drinks menu. We came across it by chance (signs on the hiking trail). Great terrace to sit outside and friendly service. Drinks menu offers a wide selection. The foccacia are to die for! Went back a few days later and were thrilled again. Will certainly come back! Cake is also very tasty! Vegetarian options: Great foccacia with burrata, tomatoes and pesto. Cake selection. Parking: Free parking spaces (on the slope) available.

Phew, the shock is deep...we were on holiday near Schenna a few years ago. The rustic oven builder with his great pizzas was a regular destination for us. This year, after a long time, I went on vacation to South Tyrol again and I googled the stove builder. I'm glad I did that. If I had seen what happened here I would probably have fainted. Who would approve such an ugly housing project??? Reminiscent of the concrete Olympic settlement in Munich. Just bad. And the bistro looks like a kiosk from the 70s.....Mediterranean is different. Just cold and modern...
