Bidra med feedbackToday, I ordered boneless Faham chicken by phone at 4:11 PM, and was informed that it would be ready in 20 to 25 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant around 4:50 PM to pick up my order, only to be told that the Faham grill wasn't available that day and that they had mandi instead. I was quite disappointed, especially since I didn't receive any call to inform me of this change beforehand. Finding out about it only when I arrived was frustrating. Unfortunately, this experience reflects poor customer service. I'm sorry to say.
This place claims to be an Arabic restaurant, but it feels anything but authentic. It's confusing to serve Shawarma, which is Northern Arab cuisine, alongside Mandi, a dish from Southern Arabia, and then throw in Indian food as well. The dishes I tried didn’t taste like traditional Arabic food at all; it seemed like they were experimenting with strange ingredients that don't belong in our dishes. While they might have some decent Indian options, their Arabic offerings are disappointing and don’t reflect our culinary heritage. The blending of these distinct cuisines isn’t successful; they just don’t mesh well. If you're going to represent Arabic food, it should be done authentically. It might be best for this restaurant to focus solely on Indian cuisine and leave the Arabic dishes out altogether, as the only resemblance to Arabic food here is in the names.
Vegetarian options: There are plenty available on the menu. Parking: There is a large free parking lot.
The food is tasty, especially Lamb Mandi. The lamb is so succulent tender, just melts in the mouth. The rice with it is also very flavorful and the best part is that it is not very oily or fatty. Very satiating.
Excellent food! Not enough Persian or Mediterranean food options in my area, but I love finding a great one! Only had the Chicken Shawarma Lunch special and was absolutely packed with food, the container was bulging! Ate there yesterday and plan on grabbing dinner today!
