Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Schererville

The food was almost perfect I tried the Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage and it was perfect the Ribs were great just a bit fatty the brisket was a little to lean and the pulled pork was perfect. The service was great and the food came out really fast. Finally the atmosphere was amazing and super cute. All and all I recommend trying this place out.

Terrible ventilation in this place . Hold your breath . Used to love all the Dickeys. Man it’s went downhill. No wonder all the other locations went out of business. This one will be next . The food quality is not what it used to be. Fatty ribs fatty pork. I don’t think they’re smoking it down enough to render off all the fat. Most the sides are not very flavorful. The potato casserole used to be great now it’s like plain old mashed potatoes. Tossed most of the meal in the trash , Very disappointed, doubt if I’ll ever be back , so many better barbecue places around our area. Wish I had picked another place not here .

The Manager is top-notch. Checks on you. He is kind to his staff. Food speaks for itself. Best dine in BBQ at an affordable price.Kid-friendliness: TV's had kids movies on. Kid's meals with drink available. High chairs and boosters available.

Loved our brisket plate and the chili cheese fries. Appreciated the service and the quick times!
