Whenever you can eat local. This amazing restaurant is a local for locals and travelers who hate the cookie cutter Mexican food peddled by the big brands. The restaurant is clean and sanitized by staff as soon as a table clears. Daily specials and pages of menu options with pictures and explanations in English, and we have a winner. The food was quickly prepared and served and was wonderfully authentic and flavorful. It may not be right off the highway, but a 10 minute detour from I-10 and easy parking is well worth it.
