Carson's Tavern - Scottdale

All of the reviews for this restaurant are fake, so I recommend avoiding this place. I spent $75 for processed food that tasted like frozen meals.

We visited Carson's for their seafood buffet and found the staff to be excellent, with a particularly courteous waiter. However, we were disappointed with the actual food - it was mediocre at best, lacking seasoning and with dry cod. The biggest issue was that the crab legs were excluded and everything else was served almost cold. In my opinion, the price was a bit high for the bland food we received. The cost per person was between $30–50, with a rating of 1 for the food, 5 for the service, and 4 for the atmosphere.

The seafood buffet on the first Friday of every month is amazing. They have the best crab legs and a great selection of fish. There are also other options such as a made-to-order pasta bar, salad bar, beef tenderloin, shrimp, mussels, clams, and desserts. It's definitely worth trying. It's convenient to have such great seafood close to home. The manager and wait staff are excellent. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. I highly recommend it. Service date: 10/06/23 dine-in.
