Green Tree - Scottish Borders

3rd visit,though we'd try the Christmas menu,,,wrong choice Firstly waited 10 minutes to be seated in a freezing reception with around 6 other people,then shown into a hall , when I had booked the small area,then eventually ordered by the most dullest waitresses ever,the 2 young girl were fine. Good choices on the menu ,but the roast best was as tough as old boots,dog enjoyed it when we got home. Turkey was fine and plentiful. Kids had the steak burger, tastless, macaroni, no taste. Seeing it was Christmas the hall could have been a little bit Christmassy. Quick enough with the bill,but very poor service overall

The meals are of good quality and include dishes such as Sea Bass and Gamon. Everything is served hot and well-cooked, with no long waits. Overall, it is a first-class dining experience.

I enjoy visiting The Tree for romantic date nights with my partner or fun family dinners. They always have a wide selection of menu options to choose from.

Work night out, booked a table for dinner at the recommendation of my team. Glad we chose the Green Tree, great menu with something for everyone including a specials menu. Nice atmosphere very relaxing. Food was really delicious, service second to none, well done

Excellent food and service for morning tea/scones and for lunch, in the big back room. Lovely food friendly staff. 5
