Darcy's (aka Gianfranco's) - Scottsdale

I recently attended my niece's wedding reception at this amazing restaurant along with 24 other guests. The service was top-notch, the food was hot and delicious, and the small private room was tastefully decorated. I opted for a Caesar salad, which was crisp and fresh, followed by Sandabs - beautiful fillets cooked in a lemon caper sauce and served on a hot plate. The portion size was generous and the fish was flavorful. I rounded off my meal with a delectable lemon cello cake. I highly recommend this restaurant! Others at my table raved about the chicken Milanese, noting how tender and juicy it was. My dad always used to say that the quality of an Italian restaurant could be judged by their veal, and the veal here was so tender you could cut it with a fork, melting in your mouth like butter. Trust me, you can't go wrong hosting an event or having a wonderful night out at this restaurant.

I usually only leave reviews when I am unhappy or dissatisfied with something. But this time, I absolutely adored this charming restaurant. The manager, Toni, is fantastic and very welcoming. The waiter is a true gem, and I enjoyed both of them immensely. The ambiance of the restaurant is elegant and the food is perfectly delicious. It's almost like a homecooked meal from mom's kitchen. You will definitely love it too.

The food was okay, but the service was lacking. Four people at a nearby table left because they were never served. Our own experience was almost as bad. The restaurant had a Valentine's Day special offering 15% off, which they refused to honor when we showed them the coupon on our phone instead of a printed copy. This is very poor customer service. We will not be coming back.

Great place for Italian cuisine and very close to the four seasons hotel! and by the way they have delicious auberginen parmigiana! would definitely recommend! beautiful atmosphere with inside and outside seating.
