Ironwood American Kitchen At The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

Staff were great, the food was good, the only issue was specifically for our group, as we all wanted chicken wings and there's none on the menu! May not be a change that is possible but it's the only improvement I can offer! Great place in a great place.Food: 4/5

It was a holiday. The flavor was good. Wait staff was often absent. Two of our sides were forgotten. One of 3 childrens dishes was out over five minutes later than the others. Two of us ordered tha dame dish with different sides, but the entree.came out completely different. Beautiful atmosphere. Lovely dining setting.Food: 4/5

Sadly, the food was exceptional but was difficult to enjoy because the service was so poor. About 20 minutes after being seated, we were finally brought water by someone who was not a waiter, but who informed us that our waiter would be coming soon. After another 15 minutes the same man who wasn't a waiter returned to clean some tables at which point we informed him that we're very hungry and would like to place an order.We ordered the warm bread appetizer along with the cauliflower one. We stated that we would like to start with that and then ordered our entrees. After about 35 to 40 minutes, all the food arrived at once and was delivered by someone else who also was not our waiter. After finishing our meal, I flagged down the waiter who had been ignoring us the whole time, to ask for to go boxes. They were delivered along with our check at which point we left no tip because we still had not been assigned or helped by our actual waiter.The food was good but difficult to enjoy in such an uncomfortable setting.Would not recommend.

Best shrimp scampi I've ever had! It was flavorful, with good amount of shrimp, I enjoyed it very much. The staff were very nice and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing.Food: 5/5

We enjoyed breakfast and lunch at this wonderful indoor/outdoor hotel restaurant. The breakfast experience features fresh juices, fruits, pastries, and many hot items too. Lunch is equally impressive with creative salads, small plates and sides, local beers, and a solid assortment of kid-friendly items too. They even employ a live falcon (and a handler) to keep the other pesky birds at bay! I’ll be back.
