It looked great to start. Great ambiance but once the sommelier? Served us a bottle of Silver Oak that was COLD!! We knew we might have a problem. My steak was of average quality and was like warm. My friends short rib stuffed ravioli was. Yep I"u guessed cold! We will not return
We had been at your restaurant once before for our Anniversary and had a 5 star experience- food, service etc.We had had the honor of meeting Scott and won a copy of his Book. He has also supported our cancer charity and made it a special occsion since our 30th anniversary also celebrates my husband's 30 year survival. We brought friends last night and were welcomed warmly and ordered drinks, appetizes.but it was downhill after that. Waited for the waiter to take our order an excessively long time. I asked about the spice level of my entre- Bplognese Meat sauce/pasta. I have a medical condition and can't tolerate spices. I was told it wasn't. The food was spicey but had to wait till another waiter showed up .When someone did and I re-ordered, the other 3 people had finished their dinner, which was awkward,,also one person ordered fish, she found bones in it-the cod. The re-ordered food was the same. So, they apologized and didn't charge me for it. Not the kind of service or response I would have expected Sad, because none of us will go back or recommend the Americano. I don't think Scott would be pleased about this. My man and I had the best experience in the americano. first, the restaurant is beautiful, elegant and hip. the service was warm and friendly. our server taylor made enthusiastic thought recommendations for drinks and desserts and desserts. and she was right on every account! the cocktails were really handmade artworks that were delicious. we ordered a couple of different – the highlight, kink on the floor – and we felt compelled to make photos of each of them as they were so beautiful. we have flooded with delicious entrees without regret, was the short rib ravioli we almost did not get, but taylor made it happen for which we are most grateful. the desert was a unique creation, the “Orange”. what looked like a?! white chocolate coated luscious half-fredo with a stamp of taste. cannot say enough about how wonderful the evening was and we are so grateful for the Americano staff that they help us to celebrate this after quite difficult times.
The food was great and the service was fantastic. highly recommended.
