Uncle Sal's - Scottsdale

What I recall most about my last, first-visit was an embarrassingly small pasta portion. I mean, it's pasta! It's still cheap. But the sauce was good, or memorable. So I went back. Wanted more. Ordered spaghetti with sausage, 1 spaghetti and meatballs. Got a soup and a salad with each. The tomato-basil soup was absolutely delicious, clearly homemade. Delicate. Delicious. My Ssalad was sad. One cherry tomato? Sheesh. Ordered 2 pastas, 1 sausage/1 meatball. Portion size this visit WAS better. Sausage was spicy, very spicy. Not really a plus. The meatballs were excellent. The sauce sauce was...not really to my liking. Not bad, bitter, not seee. Expert Italian cooking. Just not necessarily to my liking. I also ordered a Chicken Marsala entree. Thought I'd eat it on Sunday. Dish was EXCELLENT. ELEGANT, expertly prepared. I asked for fettuccine noodles and it was excellent. So luscious, I will go back, just to eat it there, hot, and enjoy it. Excellent food, good portions. No one's disappointed here.

Best key lime cake I ever had. waitress was kind and made sure we had everything we needed. spaghetti noodles were perfectly cooked and the sauce was very tasteful. will go back.

WOW! While you won't meet the previous owner, Sammy the Bull, there any more, you will certainly be treated to the most delicious Italian food!

Good place to make a family or Friend dinner reservation. Lots of regulars stop by and the staff know them by name and are highly relational. The food is excellent and not an over priced experience. If you need a quick meal the bar/ lounge will fit you and a smaller party comfortably. Highly enjoyably.

Great service out on patio, by the fountain. Chicken marsala and eggplant parmesan were both good sized delicious portions. The terimusu was some of the best ever enjoyed and definitely dessert sized for two
