Sonny's Sandwiches - Sea Bright

I have to be honest; I was at Donavan's Reef and decided to look for food nearby. I came across this place, and I have to say, it had the best sandwich I've ever had. The chicken cutlet was incredible. This is definitely one of the best hidden gems in New Jersey!

I ordered a 7-inch sub, which is typically priced between $13 and $14. However, when I went to pay, they charged me an additional $6 for adding broccoli rabe to the sandwich. That brought the total to around $20 for a 7-inch sub, and I definitely don’t think it was worth it.

The blonde woman at the counter (assuming she's the owner) came across as quite condescending, both to me and her staff. However, the food was excellent. If you're in the mood for a tasty meal with a touch of attitude, this is the spot for you.

The food was decent. I dined in, and I would rate the food a 3 out of 5. The service was quite good, so I would give it a 4. The atmosphere also received a 4.

The food is decent, but it's not exceptional. It seems to have declined a bit, especially considering what many other reviewers have mentioned.
