Bidra med feedbackStopped in as Baja Fresh was closed. Grab food, and fast. Nice friendly service. Ordered a turkey sandwich with a salad. Salad was lettuce with tomato’s and a some pepperoncinis. Sandwich was toasted Texas toast, turkey and fresh tomato. Would go back again.
One positive is the big menu with a wide variety of options. Everyone in your group should be able to find something they want. Seating is limited and can get full when they are busy. When they are not busy, they will offer table service, but is just as easy to order at the counter. Staff are friendly and food is decent. Prices have gone up a lot (more than double) over the past few years, although that aligns with pretty much everything else in California. Portion for most items is large, so I can usually get two meals out of it, so that also helps. If in the area and hungry, it's worth checking out.
I had a patty melt which was excellent. The fish sandwich and tuna melt were also delicious. I don't care for the breading/batter that they use on the onion rings and fried zucchini. But the staff was out if this world friendly and helpful.Food: 4/5
The prices are on the high side, even with the latest increases everywhere. Almost $10 for a BLT by itself. I'd feel better spending that if it was a great sandwich, but it wasn't. The bacon was chewy. I feel like I just ate a lettuce sandwich and will be hungry again in 30 mins.
This is close to home and one of our go-to breakfast spots. Been coming here since they opened the restaurant and never had bad service or bad food. It's usually crowded on weekend mornings for breakfast. I love the huevos rancheros and my wife loves the make your own omelets. The coffee is great! And the service from Claudia is excellent. She always comes to check on us and refill our coffee at least 3 times. And the best thing is they didn't raise their prices exorbitantly like other restaurants have over the past year! Good food at a good price!
