La Tortuga Torteria - Seaside

Absolutely fantastic! The hongos torta is amazing. If you're on a date, I recommend avoiding the tacos since they can be a bit messy to eat. However, the fish tacos (both kinds) are excellent. The staff is very friendly as well. You should definitely give it a try!

I had a fantastic first visit! I ordered the chicken tinga tostada along with a Modelo, and it was just $11! What a great deal. I can't wait to return and try the molcajete!

I had the breakfast burrito, and it was really tasty. It was filled with chopped bacon and potatoes, and the portion size was generous.

The tortas are the thing to order here. They're ! We love ordering a couple and sharing bites. You can't go wrong. Be sure to check out that bakery counter while you're there!

Come for the tortas, not the tacos I ordered a Pollo mole torta. It was pretty good. The chicken was moist and the mole sauce was tasty. The addition of avocado and jalapeño made it better. I did have a few bones in the sandwich though and that wasn't the most fun. My friend ordered 2 soft tacos and a rolled taco. The pastor and the carne asada were lacking in flavor. So I would not recommend. The portions were generous though.
