Bidra med feedbackProbably had the best meal of our life here! The ribeye and halibut were cooked perfectly and all the sides were delicious. Portions were large. Atmosphere was super romantic. And the staff were lovely! Can’t recommend this place highly enough
After a horribly long day of travel mishaps, we found this oasis. I cannot overstate how comforting it was to stumble into this hidden gem and its wonderful employees. Our server, Reny (please forgive me for the misspelling) made us extremely comfortable, humored our follies, and the food was fit for kings. Although, I doubt any king ate as good as we did that night!
Update: Returned to El Gaucho for our 15th anniversary and the place is as nice as ever. Some of the recipes have changed slightly, mainly the steak Tartare, but still an amazing place to go for that special, romantic dinner. They had a live pianist playing who was amazing. You could request for any song or piece and he will hear it once, and be able to play it. Once again El Gaucho delivers on its promise as a fine dining restaurant specialising in Steaks. The cocktail pictured is called Wierd Barbie and I love the attention to detail with the Barbie shoe decoration! You can also check out their sister restaurant, Aqua for some of the best Seafood around. We went here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. A wonderful atmosphere, perfect for a romantic dinner. The staff are all super friendly and helpful, with excellent knowledge on wine pairings. The food was probably some of the best food I have ever eaten. The steaks were cooked to perfection and were perfectly paired with an excellent local wine. Every little detail helped to enhance the experience, including rose petals on the table and a card wishing us a happy anniversary from the El Gaucho team. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this restaurant as a wonderful place to get away from the kids for a 5 romantic meal.
As a pre-face, I am a Seattle resident that is always on the hunt for epic foodie expriences. El Gaucho is now easily in my top 3 of must go agains in this city! The food and atmosphere were absolutely top-notch. It was like stepping in from the hot summer streets of Seattle into an entirely different elegant world of sophistication. The staff were prompt, kind, and paid every attention to detail. The food was divine. Best meal we have had in months. The pianist, Martin Ross, was exceptional and kept mixing up his variety during our time. Also that Blood Orange Old Fashioned really is award winning. Amazing beverage. Several non-alcohol mocktails available as well. I happily tipped well above the standard service fee, and the management team even called me after to double-check that I hadn 't done so in error. Our server, chefs, and support staff earned it and my loyalty. Thank you!
My husband and I came in for a date night/early birthday celebration last night. The atmosphere in this restaurant is absolutely incredible. I loved the darkness, how romantic it felt in there, and overall how stunning the restaurant is. We were immediately greeted upon entering and sat down within the next minute for our 7:30 reservation (Our original reservation was at 6:45, but the ferry was running extremely late so another s/o for being so accommodating to us). We got lucky and were sat right next to the piano which was perfect. We loved the live music!! Our server was amazing with answering questions, checking up on us, and making sure we were happy. I just have to say the food was out of this world. My husband and I were at a loss of words to how delicious the food was. The lamb lollipops, calamari, filet mignon, bone in ribeye, Alaskan king crab, baked potato, and scalloped potatoes were all a 10/10. We can’t wait to go back!
