Bidra med feedbackI really appreciated that the coffee I chose came with a little information card. I do wish there were more vegan options available, but I was excited to try sticky rice for the first time, so I can't complain too much! The staff were friendly and provided excellent recommendations.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! My friends, who live nearby, brought me along, and we ordered a variety of drinks and snacks. Since they visit often, they assured me that everything on the menu is delicious, and I have to agree! I tried the mango peach empanada and the matcha lilikoi, both of which were amazing! My friends got the pandan latte, and they loved it too. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect for hanging out with friends.
Wow, the food was fantastic! The Chicken Arroz Caldo was incredibly flavorful, especially with the added egg and crispy skins. The Mini Ube Cheesecake was absolutely delicious.
Hood Famous Cafe Bar is an amazing place to go to in the international district. There is tons of nearby parking, there’s a parking lot behind the building which is really easy to access. You can also park on the street if you insist. Hood Famous is very easy to find and is in a great area. When you walk in, it is very clean with plenty of seating. The menu is very easy to read. Have displays of the foods they have. There’s even a retail section if you want to buy some apparel. If you have any questions they are willing to help you. They also accept cards tap to pay. While waiting for your food or drink there’s plenty of seats to sit at so you’re not stuck standing around. You’re able to sit at the bar area and watch the baristas make the drinks. While I was waiting at the bar area, Raquel was making my drink and she was really helpful with my questions and had great recommendations. I will be definitely coming back to the cafe and try all the recommendations that Raquel told me. They have all sorts of drinks teas coffees and foods!
Strolling through Chinatown on a sunny Saturday and stumbled upon this easily overlooked Filipino bakery near Uwajimaya. Went inside to take a look and saw a lot of purple stuff. Ube. I just finished lunch so wasn 't really hungry for anything, but the six pack of cellophane-wrapped ube cookies caught my eye. I remember seeing these featured in an Instagram ad or something so I bought them. I almost changed my mind though when the clerk told me the price $15 tx). Most expensive cookies ever, considering the size. But I got 'em and enjoyed every single one of them. Can 't wait to go back to get more and try some other stuff.
