Bidra med feedbackWhat a gem! I went in excitedly to try their waffle and was completely distracted by the Lebanese choices. But I'll definitely be back to try that waffle and the delicious looking quiche. I appreciate the use of compostable plates and other eco-friendly practices. There is even a small case with Lebanese olive oil and other groceries. I also discovered they have an evening soriee Thus-Sat. Great weekend option for non drinkers. They alao have outdoor seating. The only thing I wish was different was more comfortable seats. This bum needs a cushion. ?
We had such a great experience at this cafe. We all liked our food and coffee drinks and were impressed with the variety of menu options. When I asked about purchasing the pomegranate molasses, which they had run out of, the wonderful employee went home to get a bottle when I explained we were leaving town that morning and could not return when the stock would be replenished. I believe their line of products is called Green Mountains definitely recommend!!
Functional neighborhood Lebanese cafe great for grabbing coffee to go or a frittata sandwich. The sandwiches are on a really delicious cheddar chive scone. However, the Washington waffle lacked freshness and felt incomplete. Lebanese coffee almost nailed the Turkish style but could use more cardamom.
Salt and Suger is a cafe in Ballard on 24th Sve. Their staffs are really nice with warm service. The breakfast sandwiches and savory wallles are must-haves. They have good coffee too. Try the baklava with their special coffee. Lots of people don’t know they sell olive oil. If you refill your empty bottle you can get a discount.
Lena was so personable and sweet, will absolutely be back again!!
