Screamin' Mimi's Ice Cream - Sebastopol

This is an incredible spot for a sweet treat! Whenever I have dinner nearby, I always make it a point to come here, and I have my favorite order that I stick to. The ice cream is deliciously creamy, and they make the waffle cones fresh in-house, which are perfectly crispy. This is definitely a must-visit place!

My wife and I had a wonderful day with friends in the area and decided to stop by the local ice cream shop to conclude our evening. The place was bustling, but we quickly realized it was Saturday. The line moved quickly, and the staff managed the crowd efficiently. I enjoyed a delicious Brownie Sundae with fudge. As east coasters visiting California for the last time, we were impressed by the number of locals waiting in line—it’s always a good indicator of quality. We would definitely return if we find ourselves back in the area.

I opted for the fresh local strawberry and raspberry sorbet, and both were absolutely wonderful! I loved that they used fresh, local ingredients. My girlfriend ordered the Mud of Mimi, and she enjoyed it just as much.

A Sebastopol institution, Screamin Mimi's has everything super tasty handmade ice cream, attentive friendly staff and a convenient location next to the city center. A favorite of locals and tourists alike, the line can grow the block even on cold days down, but it moves fast and you can order some items before (see Express articles in Review-Pics) if you are in a hurry. Enjoy your waffle cone, split, sando or sorbet at their al fresco tables or at the adjacent place. Yum!

The vegan options were fantastic! I got a small green tea sorbet which was super creamy. I have no shame in saying I got back in line to get another small cup! For my second cup, I opted for the chocolate sorbet and raspberry sorbet. So fresh and deliciously creamy. I definitely was not missing the dairy!
