True Texas Bbq - Seguin

In an H-E-B, the parking lot is terrible. Service after order is very fast. Nice cozy dining room. I have the three meat plate with Coleslaw and green beans. Brisket, sausage and pork pulled for $16 with water. Portion size of meat was good and the sides were also quite large. Coleslaw was the way I don't like it too sweet. Green beans were a little bland, but hey, they're green beans. All three meats were good that I would eat here again.

Delicious 2 meat plate! More than I could eat. Brisket was super tender and I was happy, a ?lean? option. Defines the cost worth and not as expensive as rival BBQ joints in the city. I love the open seat and no waitress to burden me.

Not BBQ. Really disappointed as this is my BBQ night in TX. Axis IPA was good. I should have known as it is embedded in HEB Grocery which I like. Its just baked and flavored. Hotel recommended. I?ll break it her.

Excellent delicious BBQ, and friendly staff and service. I happen to be in the area and stopped by for my second visit for lunch. Unfortunately the whole city block had a complete power failure just as we were placing our orders, yet they were outstanding in completed our orders. We dined in the cafe and enjoyed our meal and was pleasantly surprised when the manager comped our meal as the power was still out. Thank you for the excellent service and delicious BBQ. I?m addition the banana pudding was the best I?ve had in years ! I?ll certainly make this a regular stop whenever I?m in the area.

I was excited to try the beef dinosaur rib that two different Seguin H-E-B employees had told us about. They said it was $20 for about 1.5 to 2.0 lbs of meat. The ad on the monitor looked great. I bought one today took it home. I weighed it because it looked rather small. It only weighed 14.1 ounces with the bone still in it! I love some fat, but this one had way too much fat way too much salt! Weighed the bone by itself it weighed 4.1 ounces. I just paid $20 for 10 ounces of highly fatty meat. Well at least my cats liked it even though one almost choked on the large amounts of fat. I called True Texas BBQ all they said is we just cut cook what they send us. They never once apologized. I cannot recommend this cut of meat at all. I will highly recommend their brisket delicious turkey though!
