La Vecchia Quercia - Selci

This review is for the restaurant and not the hotel. I went here with some friends for dinner one evening and I had a very enjoyable meal here. We only went for main courses, and I decided on a carbonara pizza for €11. It was very good indeed! The pizza itself was massive and very thin and crispy, which is to be expected in this part of Italy...so it was right up my street! The egg was spread across the whole pizza along with the mozzarella, and worked well with the tasty pancetta and pecorino cheese! I really enjoyed it! : The service was very friendly and professional. So, if you're in the area then definitely give this place a go! Easy 5 stars.

Fresh ingredients hand made to perfection. A spectrum of traditional and vegetarian dishes to keep the whole family happy, meticulously prepared and absolutely delicious. Giuseppe, Anna and the family were the perfect hosts. By far our best meal in all of Italy. We will always remember La Vecchia Quercia fondly

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay there! Excellent restaurant with delicious food and local wine, friendly hosts, good and clean room with an amazing view (we got an upgrade to a better room with the balcony for free), good breakfast. I wish we could stay there for a couple more days.

La mia esperienza in questo ristorante è stata eccezionale, con un'ospitalità e gentilezza straordinarie da parte del personale e una gestione quasi familiare. L'antipasto di caccia è stato ottimo, così come la pizza, le olive e l'insalata di fagioli offerti da loro. Anche il pane, preparato in casa, era molto buono, così come il dolce offerto alla fine del pasto. Prima di andarcene, ci hanno consigliato dei luoghi da visitare nella zona, visto che eravamo in vacanza. Posso solo dire cose positive su questo ristorante, perché le persone che lo gestiscono lavorano con cuore e passione, qualità che non si trovano ovunque. Mi dispiace tanto.

La pasta, gli antipasti, il pane, il dolce e la carne sono fantastici. Il cuoco è meraviglioso.
