The Birria 10 tacos for $30 was actually a great deal! Three of these tacos and I was full! Surprising, because I typically can eat a LOT of tacos. I had just made these at home a few days earlier, and they were good enough here to have every night of the week! If I lived closer, that would be tempting : . Highly recommend! Most authentic place we have found around and we loved here from Houston!!

Finally real authentic Mexican food! Que rica! It takes a little time because they are preparing… not just heating ur meal, but it’s worth the wait!

Excellent place. My wife and I recommend. The salsa/chips were fresh, tasty, and gratis. I had the standard chicken fajitas, which were better than most places. She had the green tamales, which were excellent. All the sides were above average as well.

Amazing restaurant, employees, and food. I have been going to La Cocina Del Don since my first year of college. I recently had them cater for an event of 100 people and they did NOT disappoint. They delivered everything to our car and even let us use this container that kept the meat hot. It was ready when we arrived and every employee was very helpful. The portions were huge and everything tasted amazing. I highly recommend them for dining in, catering, take out, anything. Truly one of my favorite small businesses.

What a great little spot. We enjoyed a really nice lunch. The server was very nice, but not overly attentive. We enjoyed some chorizo and queso and chips. It was ooey and gooey cheese with chorizo throughout. A yummy start to the meal. My only complaint was that we were not given napkins, a side plate, or silverware until our entrees arrived. The enchiladas with mole were tasty. I so think the mole needed a little more time to cook. The buffalo chicken burrito was huge and enjoyed. The birria tacos were delish! The tasty dipping sauce was to die for!!! We will definitely visit again!
