Zur Schlacht - Sempach

The location is brilliant, elevated above Lake Sempach. We sat on the terrace and it was great weather with the best view. The food is really good and not overly large portions. The service is good and mostly attentive. There are plenty of parking options and then you can learn a bit about the history.

A BEAUTIFUL PLACE WITH A LOT OF HISTORY. IT WAS A GREAT MOMENT.THIS MOMENT WILL BE AGAIN IN THE WITCH FOR BATTLE .

Wonderfully beautiful restaurant. Very good food also gluten free. Staff very friendly and fast service.

We reserved online about a week in advance and asked to sit at a side table because we had our golden retriever with us. Then sat in the pub at the regulars' table in front of the kitchen instead of in the Sääli with tablecloths and a nice ambience. There were a lot of flies around the table and when we asked for a fly swatter we laughed out loud. The food was good except for the gratin. I think due to the temperature and the cheese slices not melting, they probably forgot to heat it up. I know we could have complained, but we were just hungry. The highlight was the very friendly and attentive service with a foreign accent and long hair.
