Exercise caution when placing your order! We ordered two additional sides of shrimp, which cost $15 each. A shrimp meal is $23, while the vegetable-only option is $16, so it doesn’t make sense that they're charging $15 for a side of shrimp instead of $7! They double the charges without informing customers, as the manager pointed out, due to an unpublished menu. Also, they automatically add an 18% gratuity for all parties, which isn’t mentioned anywhere on the menu. We had to ask the cook for refills since our waitress was rarely around. This was the worst dining experience ever!

I was charged an 18% gratuity for just two people. When I asked why, the manager said it was because the waitress preferred it that way; she has the discretion to decide who gets charged the gratuity. The manager also mentioned that this practice started after Covid-19, but I pointed out that I had dined there before with my kids and this had never happened. I found the manager's response very unsatisfactory. Service: Dine-in.

The hibachi chefs provided a fantastic and entertaining experience, and the sushi was far from grocery store quality—more reminiscent of authentic Japanese cuisine. The managers were also very friendly and added to the enjoyable atmosphere. This is a great local restaurant!
