Bidra med feedbackIf you don't want to pay in city prices and want great food. Elvira's Cafe is worth the ride to the Wears Valley. Just a short drive from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge or Sevierville. The food was perfect with large portions and the staff, Kim and Anna are great. Some of us had the Grown Ups grilled cheese with chips that were brilliant. I also had the chicken fingers and waffles that were brilliant. Then we had the chicken salad sandwich and last but not least we had the Mahi mahi Tacos, which were also great. We ate there twice, so this is a combination of the two trips. Definitely at the top of our list of places to eat when we return.
My food was terrific, I had the French toast and bacon and eggs. My husband wasnt a fan of the biscuits and gravy, he said they were very bland and his bacon was very greasy.
Absolutely loved it! The food was impressive! One of our friends is a big fan of this place, while another friend was a bit hesitant. We tried the fabulous Philly cheese steak, perfectly crispy fried okra, and a wonderful chicken crepe. My mom enjoyed the chicken salad with fries, and everything was truly delicious! The iced tea was great too, and there was a lovely breeze on the veranda—it was quite cool outside on June 29. The service was also excellent! I can't wait to go back!
Elvira's Cafe exceeds expectations; it's truly fantastic! The food was outstanding, and the service was unforgettable in all the right ways. Everything is made from scratch. My wife ordered the chicken and waffles, which looked absolutely gorgeous, and I managed to get a taste—so delicious! I went for The Scrambler breakfast, and it was just as satisfying as her dish. The hash brown casserole was simply incredible! But I have to circle back to those chicken and waffles.
Four of us went for breakfast this morning, and we were seated quickly. Our waitress arrived shortly after we were seated. Our orders came out in under five minutes. The staff was attentive and very friendly. The breakfast was hot and delicious. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in Townsend!
