Bidra med feedbackHad a mini family reunion here. We are Lebanese descent and each sister cooks an ethnic dish so we have an idea what this food should be like.First the good news. Best hummus I ever had. I got it with pieces of lamb on top and the dish was great! Husband got it with the beef on top and he liked his also. But....we asked for water and were each given bottles that they charged $2.50 for. The grape leaves had a very unpleasant spice added. The spinach pie crust was hard. Everyone agreed the food was unremarkable (except the hummus). We were denied a check at the table and had to pay the waiter at the counter where HE added his tip. The bill was $88 for what we thought should be around $50 . Too pricy for what you get.
A little off the beaten path but extremely flavorful food. Uncle Bob who is really George wore many hats : waiter, cashier, bookkeeper, and more, Im sure. Quaint place. Good food. A bit pricey however.
My best friend and I found this little gem! The owner was so kind and the food homemade and delicious. The atmosphere was authentic. We would be happy to return. Amazing grape leaves!
It was very cozy for both the environment and the food, the food is homemade food, not heavy, not greasy, no excessive sauce, made me very comfortable. We dined in there, and bought another two pies to go.
This is an absolutely fantastic mom and pop style restaurant and store.I don't get here often but it is always a treat. If you want a small relaxed style restaurant to enjoy the company you're with this is your place.
