Bidra med feedbackFirst, the positives: the hummus was the best I’ve ever tasted! I ordered it with pieces of lamb on top, and it was fantastic. My husband tried his with beef and enjoyed it as well. However, there were some downsides. We asked for water and were surprised to find we were charged $2.50 for each bottle. The grape leaves had an unpleasant spice that wasn’t enjoyable, and the crust of the spinach pie was quite hard. Everyone agreed that, for the most part, the food was unremarkable—except for the hummus, of course. Additionally, we were not given the check at our table and had to pay the waiter at the counter, where he added a tip without our input. Our total bill came to $88, which we thought should have been around $50. Overall, it felt overpriced for what we received.
This restaurant is a hidden gem with incredibly delicious food. Uncle Bob, who is actually George, takes on many roles here – he’s the waiter, cashier, bookkeeper, and likely much more. The place has a charming atmosphere and the food is quite good, though it is a bit on the pricey side.
My best friend and I discovered this wonderful spot! The owner was incredibly friendly, and the food was homemade and delicious. The atmosphere felt genuine and welcoming. We would love to come back. The grape leaves were fantastic!
It was very cozy for both the environment and the food, the food is homemade food, not heavy, not greasy, no excessive sauce, made me very comfortable. We dined in there, and bought another two pies to go.
This is an absolutely fantastic mom and pop style restaurant and store.I don't get here often but it is always a treat. If you want a small relaxed style restaurant to enjoy the company you're with this is your place.
