Gene's Seafood - Sharpes

Was hoping for same good quality as old location in Arlington. Food was cold, tasted as if it was cooked last night and reheated today. Cheese grits were cold grits with a little geated cheese on top. Green beans had large chunks of onion in them. Oysters were sour tasting. The stuffed crab was the only thing I enjoyed. To top it off, almost fell on slippery floor. Won't eat there again. Spent $40, and very disappointed.

The food is great, but the only down side is the service is slow but all around a good place

The service was slow to begin with. However, in addition to that it was so hot that my wife was nauseous waiting on our food to come to the table. This was a last minute choice and we were not looking for anything extravagant but it was like one of those from a box seafood places. The butterfly shrimp were so small that they didn't even look like shrimp and the scallops looked like white peas and EVERYTHING down to the grits had ZERO flavor. All the seafood we got that was blackened was watery. I feel like the food was atrocious and the only reason they are still open is because they now have a bar attached to the restaurant. We will never return this this place. Please save your money.

The best end of year lunsheon, even Ms. STARN AND FULLER AND MY SECURITY TEAM AT THE WOLF PACK DEN, HAVE A WONDERFUL SUMMER, I STILL LOVE YOU ALL. TURN UP SUMMER 2017!!
