Bidra med feedbackBack home in Texas, we had a Del Taco location that quickly failed, and I wanted to try their food myself to obtain my own experience.The customer service at this location is wonderful. I accidentally had a duplicate online order that I wasn’t aware I placed, and they rectified that issue upon my check in at the drive thru.On the other hand, the quality of the food was lacking. Flavor wasn’t there. This was my first time visiting a Del Taco, and it seems like the quality of the food is across the board, and not based on a particular location. I tried their grilled chicken taco, chicken taco del carbon, snack taco, snack size chips and guac, and a strawberry lemonade.All the tacos were small, lacked flavor, and loaded with sauces, making things messy and mushy. Their chips were thick and the guacamole had good flavor. The strawberry lemonade had pieces of defrosted frozen strawberries in it that reminded me of Sonic, and I enjoyed picking the fruit out.Overall, very unimpressed with the quality of the food and the lack of flavor. But great customer service.
Food is garbage.Yes I know it is fast food, but this made me think that Taco Bell is good.
This review is on the Del Taco located in Twentynine Palms, CA on Feb 27 for dinner via the drive thru. I'm new to this area. My order wasn't even wrapped up properly and the food tasted so bad that I gave it to the dog. Never have I experienced such awful food at any other Del Taco around SoCal. It looked like a 2 year old wrapped my tacos up, and because they were barely wrapped, everything inside the tacos fell to the bottom of the bag and I had to fish all the inners out to put it back in the taco shell so I could form an edible taco it literally looked like they threw my items in the bag. I placed an online order for dinner and went through the drive thru to pick it up. I thought maybe they were busy, but I was the only one in the drive thru and I didn't see hardly any cars in the parking lot. My order was so terrible that I felt compelled to call corporate and complain. I told them out of every Del Taco I've been to around Southern California, this is the only one where I've had such bad tasting food and nothing was wrapped up properly. I said idk what's going on here, but corporate needs to go in and evaluate this location it's that terrible. WORST del taco I've ever been to around SoCal, from taste to presentation????
They still owe me a taco ? because I put in an order by phone using rewards I clicked add to order then it started a new order took my points never adjusted quantity and never put in the order to be filled. but otherwise ok , other than lost orders ? they don't even know when to put it in the locker box or pickup at the counter ? Seems like poor training. I sat down put in the order waited walked up and they asked if I wanted to place an order I told them I already did they asked my name then said there's no order there , later found it in a locker it wasn't supposed to be in. ????? Absolutely unacceptable if it was my restaurant. Seems there's no records kept on what's picked up at all .only maybe a reciept lost in a database ?
I went in the morning for breakfast. The man working at the window was rude about adding on to the order. Giving a nasty look. The person who took my order was rushing me to order. After every item I asked for, they said is that it? And had a noticeable attitude when i said no one moment.I understand it 's morning, and nobody is in the mood to deal with someone who doesn 't know what they want to eat but be kinder. Nobody want to deal with attitude in the morning when they 're trying to get food. We were all tired and dont want to be up so early. Just need some work on kindness.I also ordered chipotle rollers they had no sauce in them.Order 2 orders of the donuts only got one.
