It's just the small things that make a differenceUnfortunately, this wasn't as good as I'd hopedThe Talbott Tavern is old and historic.

I rarely leave a 2-star review, but unfortunately, we experienced a waitress who forgot about our table of 6 after delivering our appetizers.

Delicious food! Many large South Menu options. Big iced tea! The service was also great! Very attentive and friendly. Next time I'm in town!

Really beautiful buildings and surroundings. People were very nice too. We ate in the restaurant and did not really have time to see the rest of the building, so this is just a review of the meal. The service was great, the dining room is nice and the food comes quickly. We had the beet salad, tomato soup, hot brown and fried chicken. The beet salad was really fantastic and unusual with roasted laeks above to mix the textures. Especially good were also the crowned greens with the chicken. The maize bread was somewhat overcooked and dry (I love maize bread so that a bummer was), and the hot brown was good, but not big- it seemed as if the ratio of bechemel to turkey was a bit high.
