Southern Barbecue Co. - Shelbyville

We discovered this place a little while back and have ordered large-gathering take-out meals from them a few times. We kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and for them to slack off a little in quality, like so many places do after they 've been in business for a bit. It just kept getting better! Today, I talked my husband into stopping in there for a sit down lunch. He had a sausage plate with potato salad and beans and I had..... oh heavens!..... a brisketquesadilla! Apparently, I don 't have the vocabulary to tell you how amazing that was! If they ever stop making it, I may need grief counseling! ???? Hands down the best barbecue place around!

The ONLY BBQ in town. This place is in the BBQ business like none other. You want some REAL GOOD BBQ? This is your spot. The first time I tried this place I was blown away and instantly hooked. The people that work here are so nice and friendly. Try it, you'll love it.

Phenomenal place! Their smoked ribs are to die for. Everything is home made for real, absolutely amazing taste and oh man is their barbecue sauce on point. I just found my new favorite bbq joint in all of Shelbyville. This place!

I eat here quite a bit. Everything I have had here is wonderful! The Mama's Chicken Nachos and Chopped Brisket Queso Dip are two of my favorites. We bought barbecue pork for the 4th of July, and it was so good that it didn't even need sauce.
