We discovered Blondie's about six months ago and quickly became regulars thanks to their reasonably priced comfort food and friendly staff. However, about a month ago, we had our first unpleasant experience with a busboy named Jimmy while he was helping with our drinks. I take my coffee with a lot of cream, so I made sure to mention that when I ordered. When he returned, he filled my cup to the brim. My husband, who prefers his coffee black, offered to take the coffee, but asked Jimmy to leave some room for cream. Instead of responding kindly, he filled my cup just an inch lower, slammed it on the table, and snapped, "Is that enough room for you?" After that incident, we decided to stay away for a month. When we finally returned, the restaurant was busy and we waited for a table to become available. A large table of twelve got up and left, and we were patiently waiting for the staff to clear and rearrange the tables. To our surprise, Jimmy rudely ordered my husband to move the tables. At first, we thought he was speaking to someone else, until we realized he was directing that comment at my husband. There was no polite request, just an abrupt command. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning. This kind of disrespectful and unnecessary behavior has overshadowed our entire experience. I feel bad for the other staff members, who have consistently been fantastic. Before writing this review, I left a note for the manager requesting a phone call to discuss my experience, but it seems she isn’t interested in addressing the issue.

I had a fantastic experience! The service was exceptional, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere as a perfect 5 out of 5!
