Mason - Sherwood

This place is a bit of a gem. We ran across it by chance and was half we went. Food was excellent, beet salad between the two of us, followed by chicken and mushroom tagliatelle and what I would call a proper ragu sauce lasagna. Too stuffed for anything else. Took home half our food and I can certainly say the lasagna was as good the next day after a long bike ride! Food: 5

Both times I've been there, the service hasn't been that great. Food is good, but I altered my order a l little to add more sauce, and it came out totally dry. Nobody came back to the table to check after the food was dropped. All in all, I'll go back, I'll just be a little more particular. It's definitely worth going to! Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Had a wonderful dining experience Saturday with some friends. Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable and sweet. The food was delicious and overall great experience!! I left my purse behind and had to catch a flight home without it the next day. Lawson was kind enough to mail it back to me! That is above and beyond customer service!!! I was very grateful and highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!! Food: 5

It's been a past since my man and I had a dune-in date at night, and I'm so glad we picked mason as our night. the restaurant has a very warm, friendly feeling, the servers are professional and so knowledgeable about the menu and what a menu! eating was imaginative, fresh, hot and tasty. we will soon return and recommend that they enjoy a meal there soon.
