Bidra med feedbackMy friends and I typically meet for lunch on Tuesdays, and we stumbled upon this cafe. Upon entering, we noticed that the presentation appeared a bit cheap, and the floors could use some renovation. We sat down, reviewed the limited menu options, and ultimately chose from just three panini offerings. While placing our order, we overheard the boss shouting rude remarks at the staff, which was quite off-putting. It's unacceptable to treat employees in such a disrespectful manner - perhaps it's time for a change in management.
Emma-Louise's coffee shop, now located in what used to be the Hays Dock cafe, continues to serve the best coffee in Lerwick. The only downside is that they close at 4pm, so if the afternoon flight from Glasgow is delayed, you might not make it in time. Sorry, C’est La Vie, but Emma-Louise's coffee is still the top choice in town.
I visited this restaurant for the first time after the owner relocated. I was quite disappointed with my experience as the waitstaff were unhelpful and informed me that they stop serving lunch after 2:30pm. Despite arriving ten minutes early, they only offered me three leftover sandwiches, which I declined. I ended up leaving and went to another cafe with better options. I don't plan on returning to this establishment.
We had a look round and then had a very good lunch, nothing fancy but freshly prepared . The view out over the dock was verygoodThe staff were friendly if not the most efficient, there was no rush. a good way to take a break visiting the museum.
Previous Been in for my lunch since they have moved here. Excellent service. All staff suitably dressed with aprons etc. Service was good, Brie panini was excellent brilliant side salad etc, will definitely be back. Well worth the extra wee walk to the museum. Reasonable prices, simple but perfect menu, just what Lerwick needs. Great view too. Was in again today and although a disappointing winter menu this time and not much on it. It was excellent. My new hunt in town for chi latte was top marks here
