Havana Republic - Shropshire

The food at this restaurant is tasty and reasonably priced. The service was good, but the atmosphere was quite subdued.

No comment. Not wasting my breath after Ill treatment and error by the security that is blatently ignored when I rang about a issue. That's business minded people staying in defence of a company like many not wanting a bad name on there shoulders. It happened. And in there. I don't want to be approached by such a varied echolan of life mentioning illicits. Well. I am not worried. Better of now I know the truth. Even some security I chatted to remarked on the ongoings I watched a brawl where 2 police cars arrived to halt the escalating violence. Why is this allowed. Making progress when titles in papers saying what's wrong with the UK. Great example hushed up about till now. Why should I take repercussions in my professional career and not make awareness. I have now.

I went to a restaurant tonight but was refused entry by a young male security guard. Interestingly, both the night club near the station and Havana are owned by the same person. I was dressed according to their dress code, yet was still denied entry while they allowed intoxicated individuals who were using inappropriate language. The prices are also significantly different. This experience has left me feeling disappointed and frustrated with the attitude in Shrewsbury. It seems that there is a lack of communication between businesses, which may be contributing to a decline in business. This has definitely soured my opinion of Shrewsbury, as it seems to be developing a reputation for social issues.

I have been coming to Havana for a number of years now and it’s a brilliant night out. The bar staff make you feel welcome and the new bar taps are a great addition. The DJ is more than happy to take requests and makes for a great night out. The best part about this venue has to be the security team. They make you feel incredibly safe and are more than happy to listen to your issues from making sure that you get home safely to making you feel comfortable to bring up any issues you may have. I have Never felt safer on a night out than I have here. They go above and beyond and make for an excellent team. Overall a great venue with a great cocktail menu for a late night drink.

We had a great girls' night out at this restaurant, the venue was fantastic and so were the staff. The drinks were reasonably priced and tasted amazing, especially the rum cocktails. The music was excellent, with a mix of old classics and new songs that catered to all generations. The security staff were attentive and made us feel safe, especially with all the trouble happening around town. Jane, in particular, was wonderful and helped me out when I had a bit of a mishap with an old injury and bad shoe choice. She was polite and quickly sorted everything out for us, even helping us get a taxi home. Definitely a valuable asset to the team.
