My wife and I had the pleasure of going to the Plough for Friday fish and for Sunday lunch. The food is absolutely lovely, the Sunday lunch is one of the best We’ve ever had. Chris and Rosemary are fabulous hosts. They made our weekend away very special.

Stopped for a drink after a day of walking in the surrounding area. Very welcoming, good beer and great pub ambiance. Definitely recommended and will be back when I'm next in the area.

We called in to this lovely, homely pub for lunch, not having any idea what to expect. The owners were welcoming and friendly. We each ordered a Sunday roast and were told everything was cooked fresh. This was so very true such delicious food; so many different tastes and unique blends, including spicy red cabbage which had apple as an interesting, tasty addition. The gravy was simply some of the best I have ever tasted. Nothing was too much trouble and we will definitely be back recommending a visit to friends and family.
