Bidra med feedbackCame here for a nice Sunday dinner with my family. On arrival, the girl behind the bar looked at me opened mouthed like why was I here ! She asked if we had a table booked and went to see if it was ready. When we got to our table, it wasn’t even ready no cutlery and unclean I ordered sausages and mash should say smash which cost £16 ! Such as shame as it’s a lovely location and when I have visited in years past the quality of the food was better ! Won’t be visiting again !
This is a lovely pub in a stunning location. Two of us had pies and they were delicious. The best thing about them was that the pastry was proper shortcrust pastry which had not just a top but the base as well which was really well cooked and this included the vegan one. This was so much better than the puff pastry topping which you usually get served in a lot of pubs and restaurants these days. I was very impressed. The other two of us had lamb which was also delicious. The service was also very good and we will definitely be returning.
The pub is fantastic, the staff are great. The service is woeful. Booked a table for 1:15 pm at 2:15 still waiting for the meal. Ordered a drink and 30 minutes later still waiting. Could not recommend this pub to others.
Excellent meal , 8 oz bacon steak , beef burger , open prawn sandwich all very tasty , waited a little time for meal Otherwise great lunchtime meal
Good food and service at this nice pub situated alongside the river Severn. There was a good choice of drinks and food at reasonable price. The waitresses were very pleasant and helpful. It is a large pub but has a good atmosphere.
