Okami Sushi Chicago - side

My husband and I went here for date night and we have pretty low expectations when it comes to restaurants in the Oak Park area, but we were pleasantly surprised with how delicious the sushi was. Usually sushi places here over-do it with sweet or fried elements, but their sushi was very well balanced and most importantly, the ingredients were fresh. Will definitely be returning!

I absolutely love this spot. We have eaten as well as some take out. Whether over the phone or on-site, the hostesses is super friendly and makes great menu recommendations. The sushi is always fresh. This is my favorite new sushi go to spot!

Best (reasonably priced) sushi in Chicago. You can feel the attention to detail that they give to the plates here, unlike many other places where they just want to churn out dishes as fast as possible. Definitely worth the 40 min or so trip from downtown Chicago. Would definitely visit again!
