The L Station - side

First time here! Hotel was up the street and decided to give this place a try…. Idk if it was an off night but the food was not good. And service was so slow. We sat down promptly around 8:48 that’s when I took a picture of the menu ordered food maybe 5-10 mins later and food didn’t come out till 9:43. Almost an hour of waiting. Nobody checked on us. No refills no nothing just a lot of waiters and waitresses standing around taking shots at the bar. The menu is very limited but they were out of all the good sides. I got TWO lamb chops and yams for 40$!! I’m still mad about that. The lamb chops were seasoned well but overcooked. I didn’t even tell them because we already waited an hour and I could hold out anymore. The yams were literally canned but the waitress said they were homemade. Couldn’t be. My friend got the “turkey rib tips” more like gristle and she said it was disgusting. She was so mad. Overall this is my first and last time. The place was really small and not at all packed for this place to have this many problems. Maybe since I’m from the south I had higher expectations but I’m pretty sure you can find better soul food somewhere else. Hard pass.

Great place, definitely 5 star bit a of a wait, and it's super small in there, but food is greatttt especially the lamb chops

My sister and I were seated when we walked in. After sitting 15 minutes, without being acknowledged, a young lady walks over to bring water and let us know that our server would be with us shortly. We sat another 10 minutes and another lady came to the table and introduced herself as our waitress. I ordered the bbq turkey tips, and was told that they were out. We decided to order drinks and look over the menu some more. The young lady goes to put the drink order in at the bar. The young lady stood at the end of the bar and conversed with her co workers for about 5 minutes. We finally got the waitresses’ attention and cancelled our drink order and left.

The food was the best!!! The atmosphere was nice and mellow... They have to tighten up on the service though... Overall great place to eat...

The food drinks was a hit on point! Especially Devine she really did her big one! I recommend!
