Poppy's Pizza Grill - Sidewinder

We were directed by the locals to Poppy’s when we were looking for a restaurant for lunch. Conveniently located right in the heart of Estes Park downtown, it is also right by the riverwalk. The gluten free pizza my friend ordered was surprisingly better than the regular pizza I ordered, which is typical New York style pizza full of flavors but a bit too heavy in my liking. Our waiter was really friendly so was the owner. I can imagine when the weather gets a bit warmer, it will be lovely sitting in their outdoor dining area right by the riverwalk.Dietary restrictions: Serve gluten free pizza but only available for pizza with size small and up. Not available for size individual pizza.

We sat outside and enjoyed not just looking at the river, but sticking our feet in!Food hit the spot after a strenuous hike. If they have a special, take it.

Excellent pizzas by the river. The staff was very friendly and the setting was cozy.

We went for lunch. I had the green chili pizza and it was really good. Sweet potato fries and regular fries were great also. Kids said the wrap was amazing.Kid-friendliness: Individual size pizza was good size for my toddler

This pizza is GOOD. Shout out to our waitress Carla for making sure everything was exactly to our liking!. Im not a crust eater and I swear this was the only time my pizza plate was EMPTY!
