Odyssia Steak House - Sidney

We were here years ago for the best lasagne in sidney, but I guess the pandemic has changed the dinge, locked up, time over the glass. They have taken out from behind, but the lasagne was so anointed that I had to torture it. one.

If you like Greek food, you are for a treat! The food is always excellent, the staff is very friendly you feel at home!

The restaurant can be small, but eating has big taste and that is a must in sidney. three of us shared the Greek platter for 2 and there was more than enough for all of us and it was shameful!

This long standing Greek style restaurant recently reduced space to about a third of the former floor plan; with much less window viewing. Our group of seven was set up right next to the entrance which was discomforting as patrons came and went. The saving...factor is that food quality remains good, true to Greek heritage and fairly priced. The Greek style (dry) ribs were on special (from $22 to $17) and very good. Other meals ordered were pizza Greek salads which were also enjoyed. The Caesar cocktail was disappointing. Nevertheless, service was pleasant and timely. None of us liked the mandatory tip on our bills due to a policy when there are six or more patrons in a group. The renovated floor plan, for us, makes the establishment more one that we would use for take out (i.e. pizza). Based on food alone, I would have rated this restaurant higher.

I had a hankering for Pizza so decided to give Odyssia a try. I was quite impressed with it. Service was good and attentive. Recommend you give this place a chance.
